Description of the inside:
Entering the house You'll find a large lounge with floors in the typical Italian "cotto" and equipped with a large fireplace; from the lounge you'll enter the kitchen area, completely equipped by household appliances; from the lounge a large staircase covered in local stone allow you to go to the upper floor where there are 3 bedrooms and two bathrooms.
Two of the bedrooms have the vault ceiling with brick os night, and from windows you can take a look on wonderful sunsets.

On the coast of the Ionic Sea, in the Puglia of the ancient Magna Grecia, rises the XVII century building La Tenuta with centuries of traditions.
A gift from Maria Cristina d’Austria to the ancestors of the current owners, the main house has kept intact the magic atmosphere and the original structure of the past.
The other 2 buildings, il Granaio (the Granary) and il Cedro (The Cedar), at the beginning old granaries, were restored following the taste of the time and rises in front of the main house.
Three houses are surrounded by high walls and are immersed in a wonderful mediterranean garden with a splendid private swimming pool.
La Tenuta is the ideal starting point to reach the main historic and cultural destinations; it is placed only a few Km from Matera, the city of stones that was declared a UNESCO Human Heritage site, from Metaponto, ancient city of the Magna Grecia, from Taranto, the two-seas city that is the site of an important museum, from Grottaglie, city of ceramics, and from the picturesque Valle d’Itria, with its gems Alberobello and Martina Franca. La Tenuta is also a few kms from the wonderful beaches of Ginosa Marina and Castellaneta Marina where there are equipped seasides.
For golf-lovers there is the possibility to choose between 18-holes of Metaponto (at 5 minutes from La Tenuta), and the green of Riva dei Tessali (just a little more distant), where is plaied the Open of Puglia and Basilicata and the Italian Tessali e Metaponto.

Services of the whole Tenuta (Casa padronale, il Cedro, il Granaio): Swimming pool with lawn chairs, barbecue, wood oven, bicycles, large garden, bed and bath linen, agreement to access a private beach, agreement for the payment of the green fee on the green (eighteen-holes) of Riva dei Tessali and Metaponto.
